Yes, Eric Holder, who, upon hearing of the 2007 decision of the DC Circuit regarding the overturning of the outrageous, racist, human rights violating, handgun ban in DC, complained that the decision "opens the door to more people having more access to guns and putting guns on the streets." He filed an Amicus Brief when the case went before the SCOTUS, asserting that the Second Amendment is a "collective" right, not an individual one, and asserted that belief in the collective right had been the consistent policy of the U.S. Department of Justice since the FDR administration. Further, the Reno-Holder DOJ argued before the Fifth Circuit in United States v. Emerson, that the Second Amendment was no barrier to gun confiscation, not even of the confiscation of guns from on-duty National Guardsmen.

Those are not the words of an American. Those are not the words of someone who respects civil rights. Those are not the words of someone who respects the Bill of Rights. Those are the words of the next attorney general.

Write now to your reps in the senate and the house, ESPECIALLY if they are far Leftists, and let them hear of your disapproval, and how their vote on the confirmation of this man will determine your vote the next time THEY are on the ballot:
