The Insatiable Hunger of the Leftist [liberal(sic)] Beast: The Destruction of the Socialist Republic of (Europeanized) New Jersey

I love the Land of New Jersey: If you are into beaches, the NJ beaches of Long Beach Island (LBI) and Cape May put the beaches of NY, DE, MD, and VA to shame; the thousand square miles of the NJ highlands, (first, or top photo), in the NW of the state, yield true Appalachian beauty;

and if you haven't seen the million acres of the New Jersey Pine Barrens, the largest body of open space on the Mid-Atlantic seaboard between Richmond and Boston, (second photo) then you are poorer for it.

The State of NJ, however, is to be despised. Businesses and people regularly leave NJ because of the excessive taxation and regulation that has resulted from the Europeanization wrought by the liberal(sic) Democrats of the state. The Democrats are in the process of the systematic disarming of the law-abiding residents (See their looney laws on 'smart guns': as a law enforcement officer, I get a good laugh out of that idea; the 'smart gun' must stand in contradistinction to the dumb leftists who pushed that inane idea) the criminals will, of course, remained armed to the teeth, but I am yet to meet a leftist who understands simple cause and effect.

These same Democrats are responsible for the highest automobile insurance and highest per pupil costs in their teacher's union-strangled, guvvamint schools, as well as a truly punishing income tax and a burdensome sales tax. An Architypically Marxist "Millionaire's" tax was recently instituted to punish anyone who is successful. But that is what you get when you have 1.7 million Democrats and only 900,000 Republicans. Did I mention that they have the highest property taxes in the U.S.? Can you say France? Do you want to even bother guessing which presidental candidate carried NJ in the 2004 elections? Right! John Francois Heinz-Kerry.

The current left wing governor inherited a state budget of $29 billion. He immediately increased the bloated budget to almost $31 billion, and there is now a $4.5 billion budget deficit. The Democrat dominated state of MD had one of those until they threw out the Democratic governor, and elected Republican Bob Ehrlich. Yes, Leftist president Bush spends like a drunken Democrat (but I repeat myself), but that is NOT the GOP philosophy - it IS the Democrat philosophy to TAX and SPEND.

So now he wants to increase the state sales tax AGAIN! The Democrats NEVER consider cutting budgets, because they derive their corrupt power by stealing money from the people, and then giving it back to them. And in typical Demoncratic fashion, Governor Corzine (D) will stomp his feet, and wave his lollipop fiercely until the people of NJ submit to his power. ArchGovernor Corzine is willing to close down the state until NJ's insatiable Leviathan has once again gorged itself on the sweat of the brow of his subjects.
